Students: Microsoft Office

I am aware of an issue where Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc) are not automatically installing themselves on the new laptops. Your options are:

1. Use the browser versions (Chrome > "WEM" bookmarks folder > Word/Excel Online)
2. Open the "Company Portal" app and attempt to reinstall Microsoft Office on your own

In some cases, students are not able to log into the Office programs even if they have them because the license is failing. Try again if you haven't tried lately because I've made a change that might help. If it's still not working, let me know, and use the browser version in the meantime.

Students: Installing Printers

In some cases, student printers (BIGLAB and MEDIA CENTER) are not automatically pushing out to the new Windows laptops. I'm working on it. If you're not seeing them, here's what you can try:

• Go to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners > Add device (blue button) > Make sure "USB or Network" is chosen in the menu > install MEDIA CENTER (or BIGLAB).

If that doesn't work, please let me know. You may have to share your document with me or Julie, and we can print it for you.
